On January 18, 2024, the city of Bondowoso in East Java was hit by heavy rains and strong winds resulting in many casualties, including children. The next day, Cinta Baca in Bondowoso, East Java was asked to get involved with the Regional Library to tell stories to the children as part of a trauma healing program organized by the local government.

There, Cinta Baca staff read the story ‘Benny the Food Waster’ and invited the children to actively engage in activities after the story telling.
