NON-FORMAL PROGRAM
Our non-formal programs cater to the various needs of the communities where Cinta Baca has a presence. Among them are:
BAHASA INDONESIA COURSES FOR NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS
This course aims to assist its students to actively master the Indonesian language in both oral and written formats

ENGLISH CLUB
This club is made up of mostly young people who have a desire to develop their English skills. The club plans a number
of social and non-formal programs using the Cinta Baca facilities. This club holds weekly or monthly meetings, organizes workshops and some Outward Bound-style activities, hosts special gatherings, Speak English days, and often volunteers to help with other Cinta Baca programs like story telling or special workshops.

TERANG BANGSA : A SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN
This school is engaged in non-formal education for children with special needs, with the aim of preparing them to enter public schools or inclusive schools.
This is done through three stages: observing the child; designing a 6-month lesson plan together with the parents; followed by basic sensory lessons according to their needs, after which they will move on to basic academic lessons.
LIBRARY TOURS
This is a special program for elementary schools and kindergartens where we take a select group of children through what is a library, and they are given a Cinta Baca membership card so they can borrow books. They also participate in engaging storytelling sessions and fun literacy activities. This program is carried out in conjunction with the PTAs of the respective educational institutes.
