From December 8 to 12, Cinta Baca staff in Medan, North Sumatra, travelled from Medan to Langsa, one of the locations that suffered severe damage due to floods and landslides on the island of Sumatra in late November, together with humanitarian teams from various Cinta Baca partners. During their journey, the team passed through five disaster-affected areas before finally arriving in Langsa, Aceh. In these areas, Cinta Baca staff read stories to children in refugee camps and distributed healthy snacks. “We hope that by reading these interesting stories, the children can forget their sadness for a moment,” said Cinta Baca staff.
