Extreme rainfall caused by tropical cyclone Senyar, which hit the island of Sumatra on November 25-27, 2025, resulted in flash floods and landslides in various areas in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra. Many buildings were affected by the disaster, including three Cinta Baca reading posts in Aceh, specifically in Langsa, and in North Sumatra, specifically in Sipirok and Gunung Tua.
