During the evaluation of the sixth lesson about parenting styles at Cinta Baca Aceh, one of participants, Karmila, shared her experience. “I realized that I am a permissive parent, I don’t like fuss and tend to give in to my son. It has caused him to be selfish and irresponsible. So last week, I started to practice what I learned and being assertive with my child. The result was amazing! My son is now taking responsibility, get up early and praying frequently.” During the pandemic, Cinta Baca is running a special program for parents. This program aims to help parents build better relationships with their children with the help of special education experts.
