“Our kids are now used to listening to stories every night before bed or during free time. And we are also used to reading them stories.” Said a participant of the smart chase program to Cinta Baca staff at the YWKA Kindergarten Reading Post, in Padang, West Sumatra. The participants, who are mostly housewives, feel the positive impact of reading books to their children, especially in terms of improving their intelligence.
